Job summary

BT Group in Birmingham seeks a Sales Team Lead to manage a desk-based acquisition team for BT/EE customers. You’ll drive new business, nurture existing accounts, and coach agents to upsell across the EE and BT portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead a desk-based sales team to upsell/cross-sell across the EE and BT portfolio.
• Coach, develop, and recognise performance to drive a high-performance culture.
• Build team capability through performance plans and career opportunities.
• Collaborate internally and externally to deliver results and share best practice.
• Meet KPIs and SLAs by planning to drive results and remove barriers to excellent customer care.
• Provide thought leadership to win in the market and improve sales outcomes.
• Develop and mature the sales model and opportunities to sell converged solutions.
• Improve service treatment in Desk Sales to boost retention and NPS.
• Understand the market and disseminate insight to the wider team.
• Train agents to broaden skills and stay compliant in sales activity.
• Handle customer escalations as the first point of contact and own the resolution.
