Job summary

MBDA is seeking a skilled professional to lead subcontract management for missiles and sub-systems. You will prepare, negotiate and manage subcontracts across their lifecycle, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met while safeguarding MBDA’s interests.

The role involves working with UK and international suppliers, providing commercial guidance and managing risk. A mix of on-site and flexible working arrangements supports an active travel schedule and collaboration with global partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement subcontract management or willingness to learn.
• Strong negotiation skills and contract awareness.
• Ability to assess risk and commercial impact in subcontracting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across internal teams and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel to UK, Europe and beyond when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute subcontracts with partners or via tendering.
• Oversee subcontract amendments for compliance with standards and law.
• Perform contract performance management to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop global supplier relationships across UK, Europe and beyond.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities in supplier work.
• Obtain quotations and market intelligence to support MBDA bids.
