Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Procurement Subcontract Specialist to lead supplier relationships, manage subcontracts, and provide commercial guidance across projects. This role focuses on partnering with suppliers, negotiating critical terms, and delivering complex subcontracts within missile systems.

You will line manage and lead teams within the Project Procurement (P-PROC) group, traveling to suppliers in the UK and Europe.

• Strong negotiation and contract terms experience.
• Exposure to new business tendering and competitive procurement.
• Ability to resolve opposing views and negotiate win-win positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a portfolio of Research and Development procurement subcontracts.
• Line manage and develop others within the P-PROC team.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and craft key contractual terms.
• Provide commercial guidance to internal customers across projects.
• Manage risk and opportunities to safeguard MBDA interests.
