Job summary

MBDA UK Limited is seeking a skilled procurement subcontract specialist to manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts with UK and international suppliers. You will lead negotiations, ensure contracts meet time, cost, quality targets, and provide commercial guidance to internal customers.

The role offers dynamic hybrid working (2-3 days on-site) and a salary circa £45,000–£48,000, with a company bonus up to £2,500 and generous pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement subcontract management and negotiations.
• Ability to provide commercial guidance and manage risk across supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute subcontracts with partners and during tenders.
• Oversee subcontract amendments for compliance with standards and legislation.
• Conduct performance management to ensure supplier delivery per obligations.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers in the UK, Europe and globally.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and business risks related to suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and critical supplier intelligence to enable MBDA bids.
