Job summary

MBDA in Stevenage is seeking a Procurement Subcontract Specialist to lead a portfolio of supplier subcontracts and provide commercial guidance across projects. The role involves negotiating key terms, drafting contracts, and coordinating delivery with internal teams and suppliers.

You will manage a team, travel to supplier locations as needed, and ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery while upholding MBDA’s standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience providing commercial guidance to suppliers.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts.
• Experience with subcontracting for R&D projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a portfolio of subcontracts across MBDA projects.
• Negotiate and draft key terms with critical suppliers.
• Line-manage procurement colleagues and coordinate teams.
• Provide commercial guidance to internal customers and manage risk.
