Job summary

MBDA is seeking a skilled procurement professional to manage supplier subcontracts across the life cycle of missiles and subsystems. You will negotiate, implement, and oversee contracts with UK and international suppliers to safeguard MBDA’s interests.

The role requires collaboration across the MBDA Project Procurement team, with on-site work up to 3 days a week during the initial six months and a strong emphasis on delivering cost-efficient, timely and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain role, preferably Defence or Aerospace contracting.
• Degree in business discipline or related field; CIPS or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills in a global context.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute subcontracts with suppliers or via tenders.
• Oversee subcontract amendments for compliance with standards and legislation.
• Lead supplier performance management to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
