Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a community-facing role in Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire to provide face-to-face customer support. The role focuses on estate visibility, liaising with tenants, and supporting housing managers to improve neighbourhoods.

You will handle administrative duties, safety checks, and system record updates, with flexible office and community site days. Driving and a DBS check are expected requirements.

Qualifications

• A positive, can-do attitude, stay organised and take initiative.
• A real passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
• Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners.
• Knowledge of housing management and housing law, universal credit is a bonus, not a must.
• The ability to use technology to navigate our systems and update customer records.
• An appreciation that this is a role where you'll spend much of your time lone working in our local estates.

Responsibilities

• Be visible and proactive on our estates to build strong links with our communities.
• Support housing managers with their patches to improve neighbourhoods.
• Handle tasks like managing compliance cases, liaising with contractors, including grounds maintenance and cleaning, assisting with estate inspections, and undertaking desk based administrative duties, including issuing letters and carrying out system cleansing.
• Complete and record routine safety checks in buildings and communities.
• Keep admin up to date, including records, ordering and arranging payments for works.
