Job summary

Home Group Limited is recruiting for a housing team role in Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire. You will provide face-to-face customer support to our communities, handling compliance tasks and coordinating with contractors. The role blends office, community, and home working, with driving between sites and occasional evenings for meetings.

The position requires a proactive, organised approach and a passion for helping customers. DBS check is required; mileage is paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in housing management and housing law (beneficial)
• Excellent customer service and proactive communication
• Comfort with using technology to navigate systems and update records
• Ability to work largely lone in local estates and on the move between sites

Responsibilities

• Be visible and proactive on our estates to build links with communities.
• Support housing managers with patches to improve neighbourhoods.
• Handle tasks such as managing compliance cases, liaising with contractors, grounds maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist with estate inspections and desk-based administrative duties (issuing letters, system cleansing).
• Complete and record routine safety checks in buildings and communities.
• Keep records up to date, including ordering and arranging payments for works.
