BDS (Northern) Limited is recruiting a Housing Support Worker to cover the Stockton and Middlesbrough area. You will support vulnerable people with housing applications, tenancies and job opportunities, helping them maintain tenancy.

Duties include creating tailored support plans, conducting risk assessments, signposting and providing information, advice and guidance to empower tenants to manage responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Create a support plan for each tenant detailing all elements of support needed to maintain tenancy, with regular reviews.
• Carry out risk assessments with tenants to identify risks to their tenancy or others and review regularly.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to help tenants understand responsibilities and develop effective strategies to meet them.

BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to work across the Stockton and Middlesborough area. You will be working with vulnerable people in helping them with support around housing applications, tenancies and job opportunities. The duties include but are not limited too.

• To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing all elements of support required for their tenancy to be maintained – including any signposting required. This must be reviewed on a regular basis.
• To work alongside an individual in understanding how best to provide support through a thorough risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy, or others – this must be reviewed on a regular basis.
• To provide information, advice, and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

20 Hours per week temp ongoing

Payrate- £13.60ph PAYE- £17.19ph UMB

Mileage paid at 45ppm
