Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Neighbourhood Services Manager to lead a housing management service across a defined patch. You will support customers to resolve issues, promote independence, and safeguard vulnerable groups within the community.

You will manage tenancy queries, sustain tenancies, handle estate inspections, and work with partners to deliver interventions. A strong customer focus and communication skills are essential, with hybrid working and a full driving licence

Qualifications

• Experience in housing sector or a similar role is desirable.
• Understanding of estate and tenancy management and related services.
• Experience delivering tenancy management services.
• Customer-focused approach with high service standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise, time-manage and prioritise in a hybrid environment.
• Proven relationship builder with external agencies/partners.
• Ability to coach customers to empower problem solving and independence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Handle tenancy-related queries per contractual requirements and policy.
• Provide direct tenancy support to sustain tenancies as a landlord.
• Market vacant homes in line with policy and allocate properties meeting customer needs.
• Manage full rent account processes, help customers plan payments and set up plans.
• Address anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches per policy and framework.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly and appropriately.
• Conduct estate and scheme inspections; monitor service contracts and address underperformance.
• Collaborate with other agencies/partners to deliver necessary interventions.
