Alzheimer’s Research UK seeks a Commercialisation Manager to drive the charity’s strategy for translating ARUK-funded research into tangible patient benefits. Qualifikationen

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in life sciences, biomedical sciences, business, innovation management or a related field.
• Experience in research commercialisation, technology transfer, business development, innovation management or related field.
• Understanding of intellectual property, licensing, spin-out creation and translational research pathways.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead commercialisation oversight across ARUK's research portfolio.
• Establish systems to monitor commercially relevant outputs and spin-outs across the portfolio.
• Monitor progress of licensing opportunities, partnerships and translational activities.
• Analyse opportunities based on scientific merit, strategic alignment, patient benefit and commercial readiness.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership and governance groups.
• Support the establishment and operation of internal commercialisation governance processes.
• Develop policies and guidance relating to commercialisation activity.
• Embed commercialisation considerations into ARUK's funding programmes and initiatives.
• Support development of reporting mechanisms showing activity and impact across portfolio.
• Identify opportunities suitable for proof-of-concept funding and acceleration.
• Manage internal and external review processes with experts and advisors.
• Monitor opportunities against milestones and objectives; contribute to due diligence.
