Alzheimer’s Research UK is seeking a Policy Manager to lead strategic policy work within our Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Team in Cambridge. You’ll shape policy agendas, engaging clinicians, researchers, patients and policymakers to drive evidence-based briefs influencing government funding and healthcare priorities.

You’ll line-manage two Policy Advisors, develop influential outputs and build partnerships to maximise impact. Flexible/hybrid working available.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in policy development and implementation within healthcare.
• Experience involving clinicians and the public/patients in policy work.
• Proven success influencing policy at a national level.
• Experience managing staff and supporting their development.
• Strong track record building relationships with stakeholders in biomedical research or health settings.
• Ability to produce and review policy reports and consultation responses.

Aufgaben

• Develop and manage programmes of work on strategic policy areas to position ARUK as an influencer.
• Provide expertise on evidence, insight and policy context for new policy ideas.
• Manage development of policy outputs: briefings, reports and submissions.
• Work with Policy Communications to disseminate policy work to audiences.
• Develop mechanisms to stay abreast of the policy environment.
• Analyse complex project activities and manage policy advisors to deliver.
