AWE plc is seeking a Commercial Capability Manager to develop and embed a comprehensive capability framework across competencies, training, development and mentoring. You will identify skill gaps within Commercial and implement targeted programmes in collaboration with department heads.

You will define the Commercial competency framework, career pathways and oversee training plans while coordinating with HR and talent teams to ensure alignment with broader employee development processes and

Qualifications

• Must have proven professional experience.
• Experience in Procurement / Commercial function.
• Experience within HR or other people-related functions with focus on skills and development.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed a full capability framework covering competencies, training, development and mentoring.
• Identify and evaluate skill gaps within Commercial and implement training programmes.
• Work with department heads to tailor development plans per role.
• Define the Commercial competency framework and career pathways.
• Oversee the Commercial training plans and manage external training providers.
• Collaborate with HR and talent teams to align with wider processes.
