Job summary

AWE plc invites applications for a Commercial Capability Manager to lead the development of a robust capability framework for Commercial roles. You will identify skill gaps, design training, and mentor staff, coordinating with department heads to tailor development plans.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder management, HR collaboration, and delivering measurable development outcomes within a hybrid, on-site and flexible schedule in Reading area.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement/commercial functions.
• HR or related field with focus on skills and development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and embed a comprehensive capability framework for Commercial,training, development and mentoring.
• Identify skill gaps and implement targeted development plans for roles.
• Collaborate with department heads to tailor capability requirements.
• Develop and manage Commercial training plans with providers and internal resources.
• Oversee the Commercial skills program and budget and monitor outcomes.
• Engage with HR and talent teams to align processes and tooling.
