Capita HAAS is recruiting a Clinical Assessor/Functional Specialist in Leicester. This role offers a hybrid pattern with 2 days at home and 3 days in the clinic, a starting salary of £39,500 rising to £40,500 after regulatory approval, and an 8-week paid training period.

You will assess claimants, document findings and write reports to inform DWP decisions. Applicants must hold current registration with NMC, HCPC, or GPhC, and have at least one year of post-registration clinical experience with

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with active PIN/registration.
• At least one year of broad post-registration clinical experience with adults.
• Good IT skills including clinical IT systems and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Conduct functional assessments face-to-face, by video or by phone to evaluate health conditions for benefits.
• Analyse and interpret clinical information and supporting evidence.
• Write detailed evidence-based reports to support decisions by the DWP/DfC - no treatment or diagnosis required.
• Utilise IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing.
• Develop clinical knowledge and learn about health conditions.
