Capita HAAS is seeking a Clinical Assessor/Functional Specialist in Stoke on Trent to conduct structured assessments for DWP benefits. The role offers hybrid working (2 days at home) and a starting salary of £39,500 with progression to £40,500 after approval.

You'll provide in-person, phone, or video assessments, write evidence-based reports, and support decision-making using IT systems. A registered nurse or HCPC professional with clinical post-registration experience is required.

Qualifications

• NMC registered Nurse or HCPC registered professional with valid PIN.
• Minimum of one year's post-registration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.

Responsabilités

• Conduct functional assessments including in-person, video, or telephone assessments to evaluate how a claimant's health condition affects them for benefits.
• Analyse and interpret clinical information and supporting evidence.
• Write detailed evidence-based reports to support DWP decisions.
• Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing.
• Develop clinical knowledge with ongoing learning about health conditions.
