Job summary

Capita HAAS is seeking a Clinical Assessor/Functional Specialist in Colwyn Bay for hybrid work, combining clinic time with home-based tasks. The role focuses on structured assessments, in-depth reports, and clinical recommendations to support DWP decisions.

The position offers Monday–Friday hours, no weekend or night shifts, with a starting salary of £39,500 and rising to £40,500 after DWP approval, plus a 10% bonus scheme and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered clinician with PIN and no restrictions.
• Minimum of one year post-registration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear, detailed report writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structured assessments of health conditions and daily living impact.
• Produce high-quality, evidence-based reports (3,000–4,000 words).
• Support DWP decisions with clear clinical justification.
