Job summary

Capita HAAS in Peterborough is seeking Clinical Assessors/Functional Specialists to join our hybrid team at Stuart House. You will meet claimants in person or via video, assess daily living impacts, and write detailed reports to inform DWP decisions.

Roles offer structured hours, no night shifts, and fixed training and career development. Eligible professionals include NMC HCPC registered clinicians with at least one year post-registration experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to produce clear, accurate and detailed reports
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
• A driving licence or access to transport for assessment centre working
• Excellent training and ongoing support and career development

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured assessments to evaluate how conditions impact daily living
• Produce detailed written reports (3,000–4,000 words)
• Provide clinical justification to support DWP decisions
• Carry out up to 3 assessments per day, via clinic, video call or telephone
