Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Customer Service Claims Adviser in Glasgow, UK. You will be the calm voice for claimants, helping to resolve domestic claims while delivering excellent customer service on every call and recording details accurately.

You will learn policy requirements, handle difficult conversations with empathy, and work closely with the Home Adjusting team and other departments to ensure customers are supported throughout the claims journey. Flexible office/remote balance is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service office environment.
• Excellent communication with policyholders, insurers, contractors and others.
• Contractor repair support experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving domestic claims and be the main contact for customers.
• Record claim details accurately and set clear expectations for the service journey.
• Learn policy and procedure requirements and empathise with customers during difficult conversations.
• Coordinate with Home Adjusting and other departments to place customers at the heart of the process.
