Job summary

ASDA is seeking an Online Format & Capacity Coordinator at Asda House. The role focuses on delivering capacity projects across the store estate, shaping online and parcel operations, and improving efficiency while balancing customer experience and cost performance.

The candidate will work with multiple stakeholders to drive programmes from concept to implementation, and will travel to stores as required. A hybrid working pattern is in place with a minimum of three days in the Home Office.

• Experience coordinating projects, programmes, or operational initiatives in retail, logistics, or similar environments.
• Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Commercial awareness and comfort with budgets and cost improvements.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify innovative solutions.
• Willingness to travel to stores as required.

Responsibilities

• Programme Delivery: support format and capacity initiatives; coordinate planning to implementation; collaborate with cross-functional teams; review stores after completion and handover.
• Financial & Budget Management: assist with capacity investment budgets; forecast, monitor costs; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: identify and trial innovative capacity solutions; help develop new operating models; use data to drive improvements.
• Strategic Capacity Planning: support long-term capacity strategies; collaborate with internal/external teams; seek scalable storage and fulfilment approaches.
• Cost-to-Serve Optimisation: drive initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining service; evidence measurable savings and embed in performance.
