Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider delivering innovative supply chain solutions at our Hams Hall site in Birmingham. We are seeking a Business Process Manager to drive operational excellence across warehouse and supply chain processes, leveraging Lean and SAP technologies for sustainable improvements.

This role requires collaboration across Operations, IT and customer teams, translating business needs into practical process and system solutions and ensuring KPI-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Analytical, organised and proactive with a passion for improving business performance.
• Experience within Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement or Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.
• Knowledge of SAP (WM, EWM or ERP) or similar Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience delivering change projects and engaging multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative approach with the confidence to influence at all levels.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge or qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process improvement projects across warehouse and supply chain operations.
• Analyse current operational processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and customer service.
• Work closely with Operations, IT, Solution Design and customer stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements.
• Support customer implementations, operational change projects and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into practical process and system solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Support testing, validation and successful implementation of new processes and system developments.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and data analysis, recommending improvements where required.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement using Lean methodologies and best practice.
• Provide coaching and guidance to operational teams to ensure consistent process adoption.
