Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Logistics Engineer for UK locations (Corby, Hams Hall, Kings Norton, East Midlands Gateway). You will develop intralogistics concepts and implement automation-driven solutions to optimize national and international operations.

You will collaborate with global teams, analyze data, design layouts, and support project delivery with stakeholders, ensuring cost-conscious, efficient warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing intralogistics concepts and warehouse layouts.
• Knowledge of data analysis, material flow and space planning.
• Familiarity with automation and productivity calculations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end intralogistics concepts for national and international customers.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders with tailor-made logistics and automation solutions.
• Conduct structural data analysis, material flow and space planning, and design warehouse layouts and automated systems.
• Support project implementation across UK locations including supplier selection, coordination, and budget tracking.
• Perform productivity and workforce calculations; MOST technique desirable.
• Collaborate with a global team using data analysis, simulation and visualization tools.
• Work with contractors and partners (e.g. BSR, PD, PC, Real Estate).

• Develop and implement end‑to‑end intralogistics concepts for national and international customers
• Advise internal and external stakeholders, providing tailor‑made logistics and automation solutions
• Conduct structural data analysis, material flow and space planning, and design warehouse layouts and automated systems
• Support project implementation across logistics locations across the UK, including:
  • Supplier selection
  • Project coordination and management
  • Budget control and cost tracking
• Perform productivity and workforce requirement calculations (experience with the MOST technique is desirable)
• Collaborate with a global team of logistics planners and industrial engineers, using modern tools for data analysis, simulation, and visualisation
• Work closely with contractors and partners (e.g. BSR, PD, PC, Real Estate)
