Job summary

PH Jones, part of Centrica plc, is seeking a confident Business Customer Service Advisor on a 6-month contract in Leeds or Stockport. The role blends in-office and home-based days, helping to manage service and repairs for social housing clients and coordinating with engineers.

You will handle daily emails, log calls, schedule appointments, update systems, apply correct charges, and assist with weekly valuations.

Qualifications

Prior administration experience in an office, customer service, or contact centre setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and proactive approach in a busy office environment.
Attention to detail and data accuracy across systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Manage daily email communications with internal teams, customers and clients.
Log new customer calls accurately into relevant systems.
Book customer appointments and support engineer scheduling to maximise productivity.
Keep internal systems updated with clear, accurate, timely information.
Identify chargeable opportunities and apply charges to work orders.
Support weekly and monthly valuation preparation.
Complete a range of administrative tasks to support smooth operational delivery.
