Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Billing Administrator to join our Parcels Billing team in Liverpool. The role will ensure client invoicing runs on time across our Parcels operation, with a focus on accurate pricing and revenue capture in a fast-paced environment.

You will process weekly and monthly invoices, resolve client queries, and support the maintenance of rates and sales agreements in Salesforce. Hybrid working and a 37.5-hour week are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a billing or administration role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Billing experience within a commercial organisation is desirable.
• Proficient IT skills, particularly Excel; Working knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
• A strong customer service focus, and comfort handling queries from clients and colleagues.
• Well organised, able to manage your own workload to tight deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to stay professional and calm under pressure in a fast-changing operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process weekly and monthly parcel and surcharge invoices for clients, plus any manual invoices needed outside the automated billing system.
• Review pricing error reports and correct issues within the weekly billing cycle.
• Investigate and resolve client billing queries quickly, checking weekly reports to make sure all revenue is captured and invoiced correctly.
• Support the audit and maintenance of rates and sales agreements in Salesforce.
• Join onboarding calls for new clients to make sure billing is set up correctly, and work with other departments to make sure invoices upload correctly into client portals.
• Respond to invoicing queries from internal departments, external organisations and clients, escalating complex issues to your Team Lead where needed.
• Keep accurate billing records and supporting documentation across Salesforce, iCorp, Swisspost and CODA.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Commercial, Operations and Finance to resolve billing issues quickly, and flag recurring or unusual issues to your Team Lead to help us improve.
• Support billing projects and process improvements when required.
