InPost UK in Edinburgh is seeking a Credit Controller to join the Transactional Finance team. You’ll manage a portfolio of Newstrade and Parcels customer accounts, own cash collection, resolve disputes and build relationships with customers and internal teams.

This hybrid role offers three days in the Verdant Office and opportunities to improve processes within a fast-growing, values-driven scale-up. You’ll need prior credit control experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Portfolio management of customer accounts
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of Newstrade and/or Parcels customer accounts and ensure payments are within terms
• Follow up outstanding debt and escalate where necessary
• Produce and issue customer statements and review credit limits
• Negotiate repayment plans while maintaining good customer relationships
• Act as first point of contact for customer queries via phone, email, and letters
• Build relationships with customers, retailers, publishers and internal teams
• Investigate and resolve invoice and account disputes
• Complete account reconciliations and ensure ledgers are accurate
• Produce debtor reports and provide portfolio updates
• Maintain accuracy and data integrity across finance systems
• Follow credit control processes relating to limits, holds and referrals
• Identify process improvements and support wider finance projects
