Job summary

Calor is seeking a detail-driven Billing Operations Analyst in Warwick to join a hybrid, 12-month fixed-term contract. You will oversee billing systems, ensure invoices are accurate and timely, and partner with IT to resolve issues while supporting Customer Service and Collections with insights-based reporting.

Ideal candidates are strong in data analysis, Excel, and BI tools, with solid experience in Billing Operations or AR.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
• Advanced Excel/data capability (experience extracting and analysing database information).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly explain technical or billing issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organisation and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable, or financial operations.
• Experience using BI/reporting tools to generate insights.
• Understanding of billing controls, financial compliance, or regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing billing systems to ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time.
• Investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and partnering with IT to resolve system issues.
• Supporting Customer Service and Collections teams with billing queries, dispute resolution, and insight-led reporting.
• Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimisation.
• Creating and maintaining clear process documentation and training materials.
• Managing third-party suppliers to ensure strong service delivery and cost efficiency.
