Job summary

Allied Bakeries Ltd. in Liverpool is seeking an organised Accounts Receivable Administrator to join the finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is hybrid with two days in the office and is offered a salary up to £25,000 per annum.

You will support day-to-day accounts receivable tasks, manage debit notes, remittances, invoicing, and customer communications to ensure timely payments. You will work closely with the AR Team Leader and wider finance colleagues in a fast-paced

• Proficient in Excel and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbox for debit notes and action items promptly.
• Download, sort, save and file debit notes and docs.
• Update logs to reflect debit/credit activity accurately.
• Oversee start-to-end quantity query investigation and closure.
• Match credits with debit notes and resolve discrepancies.
• Update the Debt spreadsheet with latest actions/status.
• Search for supporting evidence to validate claims.
• Complete and maintain the returns tracker; ensure auditable data.
• Correspond with customers regarding repayments and updates.
• Raise credit notes following approvals and policy.
