Job summary

Allied Bakeries is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator in Liverpool to support a busy AP team on a fixed-term, full-time basis. You will process supplier invoices, handle queries, and ensure VAT and coding accuracy while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

The role offers hybrid working with an average of two days in the office per week and a competitive benefits package. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly numerate, and experienced with ERP systems and Excel,

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and analytical abilities.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Proficient using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately.
• Resolve queries from internal and external customers.
• Liaise with RBS/ExpenSys to manage credit limits and approvals.
• Perform VAT treatment on invoices and ensure correct coding.
• Reconcile statements and manage workload to deadlines.
• Maintain professional standards and proactive issue escalation.
