This 12-month contract role offers an attractive day rate of £500 per day, designed for a dynamic leader keen to drive transformative change in the energy sector.

About the Role

As an HVDC Project Manager, you will take charge of implementing high-voltage direct current technology within a major renewable energy initiative. Your leadership will ensure the project\'s success from inception to completion, aligning with strict timelines and budget constraints. You will manage a diverse team, coordinate with contractors, and liaise with stakeholders to seamlessly integrate innovative energy solutions into the grid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and execution of HVDC project plans, ensuring alignment with broader project goals and industry standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, collaborating closely with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation effectively.
  • Facilitate team and stakeholder meetings, fostering open communication and ensuring project transparency.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive solutions to challenges.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
Requirements
