Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Project Engineering Lead to deliver HVDC Control, Protection, Automation and V&V scope on major grid projects, ensuring conformance with time, cost and technical requirements. You will manage C&P resources, lead multi-disciplinary teams, oversee budgets, quality plans, change control, and collaborate with functional leaders to drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree level or equivalent education.
• 5–10 projects as Lead Project Engineer in EPC/T&D across multiple contexts.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces.
• Fluent in English with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVDC C&P scope and ensure on-time delivery.
• Review progress for time, cost, quality, and risks.
• Prepare and deliver monthly project reports and governance updates.
• Ensure resources follow established processes via collaboration with C&P functions.
• Plan and manage technical interfaces with partners, customers and subcontractors.
• Maintain KPIs such as FTY, OTD and budget adherence.
• Provide leadership to deliver reference solutions and enforce change control.
• Mentor and evaluate project engineering team; feedback to managers.
• Capture and share lessons learned across projects.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation plans; communicate at project level.
• Attend customer technical meetings as needed.
• Verify design against contract requirements and optimize costs.
• Support sourcing in supplier definitions and post-order stages.
• Develop governance processes for the project community.
