Are you an HR Assistant interested in a 12-month FTC for a great company based in Luton?

Reporting into the HR Manager, you will provide HR services to line managers and employees across the UK and Ireland. Your duties include administrative tasks, providing advice and guidance, and ensuring systems and processes are managed efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administration: Managing processes related to starters and leavers, recording sickness, maintaining training and development records.
  • Recruitment: Assisting with job descriptions, contracts, salaries, liaising with line managers, and managing the recruitment inbox.
  • Employee Relations: Taking minutes at meetings, assisting with investigations, and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Systems: Maintaining employee data and ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

  • Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in HR administration supporting a SME workforce.
  • Understanding of HR processes, pay calculations, and database use.
  • Experience with HR database systems or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in relevant systems.
  • Organized, self-motivated, able to use initiative appropriately.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Salary: £30k plus benefits
