A leading healthcare provider in Wigan is seeking a Receptionist to manage patient bookings and satisfaction surveys. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with training provided for necessary systems. Join a dynamic team in a vital healthcare setting.
The role involves greeting and booking patients upon arrival at the hub site, as well as conducting patient satisfaction surveys. Full induction and training will be provided.

The role involves booking patients in upon arrival, professionally handling queries, and keeping GPs informed of any changes to pre-booked appointments.
You should be confident and professional with patients at all times.
Ensure handovers are completed to your service coordinator if applicable, and all keys & equipment are returned properly.
Conduct audit checks at each session and distribute patient surveys upon arrival.
Experience is preferred but full training will be provided during induction.
Wigan GP Alliance is a well-established primary care provider serving the Borough of Wigan and Leigh since 2015, responding to the Prime Minister's Challenge Fund. The Alliance has expanded its services to include additional support and has played a key role in the Covid-19 response.
We provide services across the Borough at multiple fixed locations.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and react positively to short-notice situations.
Work flexibly as part of a team, supporting staff shortages and telephony support as needed.
Have a good understanding of NHS IT systems; training will be provided if necessary.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, operating with diplomacy.
Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office applications, including Excel.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, maintaining good relationships and knowing when to seek assistance.
Have strong organizational and logistical skills with high attention to detail.
This position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be required to screen for any previous criminal convictions.
