Job summary

James Andrews Recruitment is seeking an HRIS Manager to own and optimise the HR Information System from Birmingham or Crewe, office-based. You will be the technical bridge between HR, Tech, and the system provider, handling configuration, data integrity and reporting.

The role requires hands-on HRIS experience, strong stakeholder communication, and a focus on GDPR compliance. A 7-month FTC/full-time 5 days per week, with no team management responsibilities, awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HRIS experience with a platform like People XD.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data security in HR systems.
• Ability to create data-driven insights for HR decisions.
• Experience in system configuration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day relationship with the HRIS provider.
• Continually improve HRIS efficiency and manage upgrade rollouts.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate employee data.
• Link technology, processes and people in HR workflows.
• Compile HR data, reports and records to support the business.
• Build dashboards in Power BI to support HR insights and decision making.
• Ensure the HRIS remains GDPR compliant.
• Lead annual pension reassessment and pension restructuring premium calculation.
