Job summary

The Royal Household is seeking an experienced HR Systems Analyst to manage day-to-day operation of our HR, payroll and recruitment platforms, ensuring reliability, security and user-friendly access for employees, managers and HR colleagues.

You will lead system improvements, work with suppliers, deliver upgrades, develop reports and dashboards, and help shape future HR technology while maintaining GDPR compliance and data governance.

Qualifications

• Experience administering, configuring and supporting HR Systems.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills with ability to turn data into clear management information.
• Experience delivering system improvements, upgrades or implementations, including requirements gathering, testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong systems and process analysis skills, with the ability to understand user needs and implement practical solutions.
• Experience producing clear system documentation, user guidance or training, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement, with experience of identifying opportunities to improve processes, self-service, automation and user experience.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, across HR, Digital and external suppliers.
• Sound understanding of GDPR, data governance and secure handling of sensitive employee information.
• Experience using business intelligence, reporting or workforce analytics tools.
• Experience administering or supporting more than one HR system (recruitment, learning, performance, etc.).
• Experience with system integrations and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of HR, payroll and recruitment systems ensuring reliability, security and responsiveness.
• Act as SME and lead super user, resolving complex queries with suppliers and Digital Services.
• Lead technical delivery of enhancements, upgrades and releases including requirements, testing and implementation.
• Improve processes and user experience by expanding self-service and automation.
• Protect data quality, integrity and security through controls, audits and governance.
• Develop reports, dashboards and workforce insights for stakeholders.
• Build user confidence by creating guides, documentation and training.
• Support procurement and implementation of future HR technology and data preparation.
