Job summary

Amtis Professional Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking an HRIS Specialist to own and improve our HR systems. This hands-on role focuses on day-to-day ownership, support and continuous improvement of HR platforms across HR, payroll and learning and development.

You will work across data integrity, reporting, GDPR compliance, and user training, delivering system changes, upgrades and integrations while collaborating with HR and IT stakeholders to drive efficiency and adoption.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain core HR systems across the organisation, ensuring system reliability, security and data integrity.
• Act as a key point of contact for HRIS queries, troubleshooting system issues and supporting users across HR, Payroll and L&D.
• Configure and implement system changes, enhancements, new modules and upgrades.
• Support integrations between HR platforms and wider business systems.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into practical system solutions.
• Support HR technology projects through requirements gathering, testing, UAT, implementation and rollout.
• Produce and maintain HR reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows and system functionality.
• Maintain high standards of HR data quality, governance and GDPR compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to users to improve adoption and effective use of HR systems.
• Explore opportunities to introduce further automation and emerging technology across HR processes.

HRIS Specialist

Location: West Midlands
Hybrid 3 days office / 2 days home
Permanent Full-time
Salary: Up to £50,000 + 15% bonus

We re working with a well-established organisation looking to add an HRIS Specialist to its HR technology function.

This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day ownership, support and continuous improvement of the organisation s HR systems. You ll work across HR, Payroll and L&D, helping ensure systems are reliable, data is accurate, and processes are as efficient as possible.

It would suit someone who already has good experience working with HRIS platforms and wants a role where they can take greater ownership of systems, enhancements and HR technology projects.

What You ll Be Doing

What We re Looking For

You Ll have previous experience working in an HRIS / HR Systems focused role.
