Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking an experienced HR Support Desk Manager to lead the People Services Support function. You will oversee colleague support, case management and onboarding services, unifying processes across two organisations with a view to a seamless experience from day one of employment.

The role requires proven experience leading a support desk or shared services within a complex organisation, with a track record of improving service performance and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Lead a support desk, shared services, HR operations or customer service team within a complex organisation.
• Improve service performance, customer experience and operational efficiency, especially through change or growth.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, case management and employee relations with HR systems and service management platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and coaching skills across levels of the business.
• Continuous improvement mindset using data and technology to drive better outcomes for colleagues and the business.
• Experience with ServiceNow, SuccessFactors and/or Oracle; CIPD qualification or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the People Services Support Desk to deliver an exceptional experience for colleagues and managers.
• Drive integration of support services and ways of working following the acquisition, creating a scalable People Services function.
• Oversee colleague support and onboarding services, ensuring enquiries and cases are managed efficiently.
• Use data and feedback to improve service performance and simplify processes.
• Partner with HR, Recruitment, Technology and stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement and future service transformation.
