Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd in Hoddesdon is hiring a HR Service Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support colleagues across the business. You will deliver a responsive HR administration service across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to contract changes, maintaining accurate records in our systems.

You'll provide first-line HR guidance, handle offers and amendments, manage data, and contribute to reporting while building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, shared services, or contact centre.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email and face-to-face.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional organisational skills and keen eye for detail.
• Experience handling sensitive information.
• GCSE English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality HR transactional service across the employee lifecycle, ensuring an excellent experience for employees and managers.
• Provide first-line HR guidance and support, resolving queries in line with policies and service level agreements.
• Process HR documentation including offer letters, contract amendments, and employee record updates.
• Maintain accurate HR data and contribute to reporting and management information.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide outstanding customer service.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the HR Service Centre.
• Develop knowledge across multiple HR processes to contribute to a flexible and resilient team.
• Assist with wider HR Service Centre activities and projects as required.
