Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a HR Service Coordinator in Hoddesdon on a 12‑month fixed term contract to deliver a high-quality HR transactional service across the employee lifecycle. You will onboard new starters, process contract changes, and maintain records in our HR systems.

The role requires organisation, customer focus, and strong communication with stakeholders. Experience in customer service or shared services is essential, with MS Office and HR systems like iTrent and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, shared services, or contact centre environment.
• Strong communication skills with phone, email and face-to-face support.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building.
• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems such as iTrent and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality HR transactional service across the employee lifecycle.
• Provide first-line HR guidance and support in line with policies.
• Process HR documentation including offers, contracts and changes.
• Maintain accurate HR data and contribute to reporting.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and provide customer service.
• Support continuous improvement within the HR Service Centre.
• Develop knowledge across multiple HR processes.
