Job summary

Pertemps Plymouth is partnering with a fantastic local employer to recruit an HR Coordinator to join their busy HR function. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR experience, gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, and play a key role in supporting both employees and managers.

As a trusted member of the HR team, you'll help keep HR operations running smoothly while delivering a positive employee experience throughout the business.

Qualifications

• Has previous HR administration or coordination experience.
• Excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems.
• Holds (or is working towards) CIPD Level 3 or above.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, screening applications and coordinating interviews.
• Prepare contracts, offer letters and new starter documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems (HRIS).
• Complete right-to-work checks and reference requests.
• Support payroll with employee changes and updates.
• Produce HR reports on absence, starters, leavers and compliance.
• Assist with employee relations and absence management processes.
• Support learning and development records, HR projects and wider team initiatives.
