Job summary

Howett Thorpe is seeking an organised HR Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to HR administration and employee relations. You will work closely with the Head of People to deliver a professional and proactive people service.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Administrator/Coordinator roles.
• Understanding of HR processes and best practices.
• CIPD Level 3 qualified or studying toward.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising roles and interviews.
• Manage onboarding processes, contracts, offer letters and inductions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Provide first-line HR support for queries.
• Assist with payroll administration and benefits processes.
• Support absence management and probation reviews.
• Coordinate learning and development and training records.
• Produce HR reports and support projects.
• Ensure HR processes comply with policies and legislation.
