The Opportunity

Juniper Education, where our mission is to champion educators, empowering them to shape future generations, is looking for a proactive, confident HR Business Partner to join our Group HR team and work closely with our Head of HR. This is a high-impact, trusted advisory role where you’ll support decision-making, shape consistent HR practice, and support managers and colleagues across the organisation.

You’ll be a go-to expert, a sounding board for leaders, and a valued partner within the HR team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our HR Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role across the full HR lifecycle, including:

Strategic Partnership
  • Working hand-in-hand with the Head of HR to deliver the organisation’s people strategy
  • Providing pragmatic, commercially-minded HR advice to senior leaders and managers
  • Contributing to impactful HR initiatives across engagement, performance, wellbeing and organisational development
Employee Relations Expertise
  • Leading and managing complex employee relations cases with confidence and fairness
  • Advising on policy, employment law and best practice
  • Supporting formal processes including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management
Change & Organisational Development
  • Supporting organisational change, including restructures and consultations
  • Contributing to workforce planning, talent management and succession planning
  • Driving continuous improvement in HR service delivery
Strengthening the HR Function
  • Acting as an escalation point for HR colleagues needing expert guidance
  • Developing and improving HR policies, procedures, templates and guidance
What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical HR knowledge with emotional intelligence, credibility and confidence.

You’ll have:
  • Experience in a either a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner–level generalist role
  • A proven track record of managing employee relations cases
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • Involvement in HR projects or strategic HR initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Can challenge constructively and support leaders to make sound decisions

  • Is highly organised and comfortable juggling priorities
