Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the UK is seeking an experienced HR professional to join its UK HR team. You will provide high-quality operational HR support across the business, partnering with line managers and employees to deliver timely advice, administer policy, and maintain accurate data.

This role focuses on managing employee relations, coordinating People Playbook activities, generating insightful HR reports, and supporting inclusion and wellbeing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Provide HR advice to managers, ensuring matters are handled in line with policy.
• Coordinate and deliver People Playbook activities with accurate documentation.
• Manage employee relations cases and escalate high‑risk matters as needed.
• Support medical declarations, sickness absence, occupational health referrals and PHI processes.
• Maintain accurate HR data, ensure records are up to date and audit-ready.
• Identify emerging people issues and guide managers to resolve them with policy governance.
• Support manager capability building with practical guidance and process coaching.
• Prepare Peakon engagement reporting for assigned areas.
• Promote inclusion, engagement and wellbeing across the business.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice to managers and ensure consistent, policy-aligned handling of people matters.
• Coordinate and deliver People Playbook activities; maintain documentation and ensure timely communications.
• Support a range of employee relations matters and escalate appropriately.
• Assist with medical declarations, sickness absence, occupational health referrals and PHI processes.
• Maintain HR data accuracy and support high-volume transactional activity.
• Flag risks early and collaborate with managers to resolve issues through governance.
