CBRE in London is seeking a proactive HR professional to provide warm, practical HR support across the business, partnering with line managers and employees to resolve day-to-day people matters and ensure policy is applied consistently. You will coordinate People activities, maintain accurate data, and contribute to HR initiatives that improve the employee experience and promote inclusive ways of working.

This hybrid role reports to the People Business Partner and involves delivering insights

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, balanced and people-centred HR advice to managers, supporting compliant handling of people matters in line with policy.
  • Coordinate and deliver People activities, ensuring processes are followed, documentation accurate and communications clear and helpful.
  • Manage a range of employee relations cases with care, including early fact-finding and escalation of complex matters.
  • Support casework for medical declarations, sickness absence, occupational health referrals and PHI applications.
  • Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures and employment guidance in a straightforward, practical way for managers and employees.
  • Prepare concise HR reports, data and insights for assigned areas, helping identify themes and actions for decision-making.
  • Work with managers and HR colleagues to resolve matters through good practice and governance.
  • Build line manager confidence by offering practical guidance, coaching on process steps and inclusive working practices.
  • Prepare Peakon engagement reporting for assigned areas, supporting insights and follow-up actions.
  • Promote inclusion, engagement and wellbeing by ensuring communications and processes are accessible and respectful.

Job description

Hybrid: Office 3 days a week

Reporting to: People Business Partner

As part of the UK HR team, you will providewarm, practical and trusted HR support across the business. Working closelywith line managers and employees, you will help resolve day-to-day peoplematters, support the consistent application of policy and make HR processesfeel clear and accessible. You will coordinate cyclical People activities,support key HR initiatives and maintain accurate people data, ensuring tasksare completed efficiently, carefully and on time. With sound judgement, strongorganisation and clear communication, you will help build line managerconfidence, support inclusive ways of working and contribute to a positiveemployee experience. You will work collaboratively with the wider People teamhelping to deliver a reliable and supportive HR service.

Key role requirements

  • Promote inclusion, engagement and wellbeing by ensuring activities,communications and processes are thoughtful, accessible and respectful.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement, bringingcuriosity, attention to detail and a supportive approach to improving theemployee experience.
  • Support effective communication by helping shape and share peopleupdates for team meetings, manager briefings and divisional communications.
