Job summary

Allen Associates is assisting with an HR Advisor role based in Oxford, offering hybrid working with a mix of home-working and in-office days. This 18-month maternity cover focuses on payroll, HR systems, learning initiatives and performance processes to support international growth.

The ideal candidate will bring HR or payroll experience, strong HRIS/LMS knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous HR or payroll experience.
• Knowledge of HRIS platforms or learning management systems with a proactive approach to system improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to generate insightful reports.
• Excellence in communication and stakeholder management.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and take ownership of HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating payroll processes, liaising with external providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Supporting employee learning and development initiatives to foster continuous growth.
• Managing performance review cycles and supporting talent development strategies.
• Overseeing HR systems administration, including updates to HRIS platforms and learning management systems.
• Generating reports and providing insights to senior stakeholders to inform HR decision-making.
• Ensuring HR procedures are compliant with policies and regulations.
• Supporting broader HR projects aimed at process improvement and automation.
