Job summary

A local government council in Crewe is seeking a HR Officer for a full-time, temporary role of 3 months. The successful candidate will manage HR casework, provide advice across the employee lifecycle, and ensure compliance with employment law and HR policies. Essential qualifications include a CIPD qualification or equivalent and strong experience in HR practices. The role offers 37 working hours per week from Monday to Friday. Qualifications

  • Proven experience providing HR advice and guidance across a broad range of HR activities.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a wide range of HR casework, including discipline and grievance matters.
  • Providing specialist HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Advising managers on HR policies and employment legislation.
  • Supporting the delivery of workforce and HR delivery plans.
  • Contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Analysing workforce data to support decision-making.
  • Supporting employee relations activities.
