Job summary

The Growth Company in Manchester is hiring an HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract within Corporate Services. You will provide expert HR support, advice, and guidance to managers across a diverse, purpose-driven organisation.

You will manage a busy Employee Relations caseload, advise on employment law and HR best practice, support change projects, and coach managers to improve performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' recent experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
• Proven experience managing multiple Employee Relations cases simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Confident influencing and supporting managers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Advising managers on ER issues, employment law, policies, and HR best practice.
• Managing a high-volume ER caseload including absence, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and performance management.
• Supporting organisational change projects including restructures, redeployment, redundancies, and TUPE.
• Coaching managers on performance, attendance, capability, and conflict resolution.
• Building stakeholder relationships and delivering practical HR solutions.
• Producing HR reports, maintaining records, and identifying improvement opportunities.
