Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking an HR Advisor to provide professional and complex support to the People Services team on a day-to-day basis. The role covers recruitment, payroll and compliance across the employee lifecycle within a fixed-term contract up to 12 months.

You will participate in compliance initiatives and support continuous service improvements to meet evolving business needs. A driving licence is required to support two plants in Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor in a demanding environment, ideally CIPD qualified.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels.
• Exposure to HR, payroll and time and attendance systems is beneficial.
• Driving licence to support the team at other two plants in Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support including recruitment, employee relations case management and payroll activities.
• Ensure processes are followed and administration is completed and compliant.
• Coordinate recruitment campaigns and manage recruitment records.
• Manage new starter and leaver administration and ensure compliance.
• Carry out internal audits and monitor payroll deadlines.
• Update HR/Payroll systems with workforce changes in a timely manner.
