Job summary

CMbE (CarnaudMetalbox Engineering) is hiring an HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract, predominantly based in Wortley with coverage for Shipley as needed. The role supports the Head of HR, handling a broad range of operational HR duties and maintaining accurate employee records while ensuring compliant practices across the business.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in generalist HR, experience in employee relations, recruitment support, and CIPD Level 5 or a HR degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and recruitment.
• CIPD Level 5 or HR degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of HR with consistent and compliant HR practices.
• Liaise with managers and maintain accurate HR records.
• Manage HR systems, payroll data and produce reports.
• Apply policies fairly and ensure regulatory compliance.
