Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a HR Advisor in West Birmingham.

The main purpose of this position would be to support HR operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional HR service and maintaining best practices for employee engagement, compliance, and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR advisory support
  • Manage HR administrative processes (payroll, attendance, employee records, and benefits)
  • Ensure HR policies are consistently implemented and aligned with current employment legislation
  • Conduct regular policy reviews and recommend updates as necessary
  • Assist in recruitment efforts (job postings, screenings, and interviews)
  • Identify employee training needs and promote opportunities for employee growth and career progression
Key Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven HR advisory experience in a fast paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting performance management processes
  • Ideally worked in a manufacturing environment
  • Approachable demeanor and positive work culture
