Job summary

Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting an inclusive public sector organisation that are currently seeking a HR Advisor join them on a 3 month temporary contract. Based in Newbury with hybrid working (2 days in office, the rest working from home), the role offers an hourly rate between £18 and £21 per hour, holiday pay included.

The ideal HR Advisor will have experience in advising on policy, strategy and HR initiatives, with strong employment law knowledge and CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Deliver professional HR advice and guidance to managers around policy and practice.
• Support the rollout of HR initiatives and projects.
• Advise on development of policy, strategy and plans.
• Experience in a large organisation with unions and stakeholders is ideal.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate between £18 - £21 per hour, holiday pay included.

As a successful HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Deliver a business partnering approach to professional advice, guidance and coaching to managers around policy
• Support with the delivery and roll out of HR initiatives.
• Advise on the development of Policy, strategy, and plans.

The ideal HR Advisor will have experience in the following:

• Providing professional advice and support within a large organisation, ideally also with unions and stakeholders
• Strong employment law knowledge
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or qualified through experience
